Nicaragua Escapade

Colonial Granada

Granada is one of the most spectacular cities in Latin America. In its baroque colonial style houses and neoclassical structure, its splendid mud tile roofs and a beautiful garden in the middle of the houses that connects to the rooms stand out. This city, after having gone through various difficulties with pirates, civil wars, filibusters and mercenaries who attacked it on multiple occasions, still remains in its original place of founding. Founded on December 8, 1524 by Francisco Hernández de Córdobas, this city is located on the shores of Lake Nicaragua and is about to celebrate 500 years of unique history in the region.
