Nicaragua is undoubtedly the most spectacular country in Central America, not that the other countries in the region are not beautiful, but Nicaragua is more complete and diverse. This country, a small territory, although the largest among the Central American countries, is relatively small compared to the amount of volcanoes (28) it has, 3 lakes including the largest in Central America and the second largest in Latin America and the only lake where the bull shark (charcharinus leucas) and many exotic fish species live. In addition to the lakes and the huge rivers that cross the country in all directions, Nicaragua has more than 400 kilometers of coastline on the Pacific and more than 600 kilometers on the Atlantic. A vast flora and fauna inhabit this country and all is concentrated in a small piece of land of 91 thousand square miles of size.
